Want to be in the parade on 21 June?

To celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the City of New Orleans, NOLA Fest is bringing a New Orleans second line parade and street party to the heart of London for Make Music Day UK, 21 June, 2018.

The parade will wind through the streets of the London Bridge area, Hay's Galleria, along the river past the HMS Belfast, to The Scoop for a mass brass band performance, followed by an open-air New Orleans music jam open to all musicians of any skill level in Potters Fields Park.

All events are free to the public, and all are welcome to watch or join in the parade and music jam.

Thursday - June 21, 2018


6:00pm - Map A - Parade Begins on north end of London Bridge, lead by Kinetika Bloco, and heads south across the Thames. At - Map B - the parade descends down to the Queen's Walk.

6:45pm (approx.) - Map C - Parade will arrive at the London Bridge City Pier and be joined by Voodoo Brass Band from London.

7:15pm (approx.) - Map D - Parade arrives at Hay’s Galleria and will be joined by UnSwung Heroes from London.

7:30pm - Map E - The parade arrives at the Scoop for a New Orleans music performance with all bands from the parade and anyone who brings an instrument.

8:00-10:00pm - Map F - New Orleans music jam in Potters Fields Park open to any and all musicians of any level, and on any instrument.
